Established in the early 1950's by H.O. (Harry) Alley, Alley Specialised Coatings has been providing cladding, plastering, roofing and flooring solutions to commercial and residential customers for over sixty years.

In 1958, Harry gained the Revertex-Nuplex license, enhancing the range of specialised products on offer, backed with a manufacturer's warranty. Today, Nuplex is a leading global manufacturer of polymer resins - essential ingredients in a wide range of products used every day, from basic necessities, through consumer durables to luxury goods.

In 1987, Harry's son Tony took over the business, consolidating the company's specialist skills in external plastering; proprietary plastering cladding systems; earthquake strengthening; sheet, liquid and torch on roof membranes; as well as industrial flooring - trowel applied resin flooring, self-levelling screeds, and roll-on epoxy coatings; internal plastering and gib stopping; and painting.

Tony is a Licensed Building Practitioner; and the company are Licensed Applicators for all Allnex Products; Resene Construction Products; Sika flooring, jointing and sealants; Ramset crack injection; Allco Volclay; and has access to numerous other specialised construction products.
